How it started

THE MOGEN SA STORY

Founded in 2021 by Ruan Heyns and Shaun Maree, Mogen SA was born out of our combined 30+ years of experience in the generator and electric motor industry gathered through our active involvement in our sister company Benco Armature Winders.

The inspiration and motivation to start our own range of petrol and diesel generators, was due to the limited availability of quality generators in South Africa during peak load-shedding stages. After manufacturing our first 50 units, it soon sparked interest from individuals and businesses. The large interest drove us to invest in more stock and gave us the impetus to pursue Mogen as a business aggressively.

We have skilled diesel mechanics and electricians in-house with years of experience in fault finding and the repair of a wide range of residential and commercial generators.

SERVICING & MAINTENANCE

We offer a variety of maintenance plans and servicing options to fit your needs that will ensure your generator runs smoothly whenever a power outage occurs.

CONSULTING & LOAD TESTS

We have licensed electricians that are available should you require advice on the best generator for your specific application. A load test can also be done to determine your power requirements.

We offer a wide range of service spares as well as spare parts for our range of petrol and diesel generators ensuring minimal downtime in the case of an unexpected breakdown.
